THE MOON (Part I)

A critical component of the heliocentric myth is the absurd suggestion that the moon is a solid body and that moonlight is reflected sunlight. Nothing could be further from the truth. The Holy Bible clearly refers to both the sun and the moon as two distinct luminaries or lights. Genesis 1:14–19 states (in Latin followed by Early Modern English), verse 16 being highlighted:

* 14 Dixit autem Deus : Fiant luminaria in firmamento caeli, & diuidiant diem ac noctem, & ſint in ſigna & tempora, & dies & annos : * 15 vt luceant in firmamento caeli, & illuminent terram. Et factum eſt ita. * 16 Fecitq.

14 Againe God ſaid : Be there lightes made in the firmament of heauen, to diuide the day & the night, and let them be for ſignes & ſeaſons, and dayes and yeares : † 15 to ſhine in the firmament of heauen, & to giue light vpon the earth. And it was ſo done. 16 And God made " two great lights : a greater light, to gouerne the day : and a leſſer light to gouerne the night : and ſtarres. 17 And he ſet them in the firmament of heauen, to ſhine vpon the earth. † 18 and to gouerne the day and the night, and to diuide the light & the darkenes. And God ſawe that it was good. 19 And there was euening and morning that made the fourth day.

⸬ The Sũne & Moone : for though the Moone be the leaſt viſible ſtarre except Mercurie, yet it geueth more light on earth by reaſon it is nerer,2 and ſo Moyſes ſpeaketh according to the vulgar capacitie and uſe of things. S. Aug. li.2 de Gen ad lit. ca.16.

Whereas the moon (just like the sun) is an independent light or energy source that is set in the solid firmament (see our webpage titled, Part C: Bible Verses Confirming Planar Earth Geocentrism under the SCRIPTURE folder, specifically section V. There Is a Protective and Impenetrable Dome Firmament Above the Earth’s Atmosphere), it follows that the moon is just as inaccessible as the sun. Hence, alleged travel to the moon from the earth is obviated by the underlying physical nature of the moon not to mention its dynamical residence within the impenetrable firmament.

Reader, certain experiments with moonlight confirm that moonlight is not reflected sunlight; rather, moonlight is a unique entity possessing characteristics completely different than sunlight or reflected sunlight. A future post on this blog will address one of those characteristics.
